Common Application Help on 9/24 and St. Joe's Interviews 9/26

Seniors - mark your calendars for these college events next week!

Common App Help Next Tuesday 9/24 During Lunch
The college counselors will be in the Founders computer lab during lunch to help with any questions about filling out the common app, matching your common app, or anything else! That's also a good time to come by if you would like to log into your College Board or ACT account and  make sure you have sent your scores and/or added schools to your fall registrations for your early schools. We can also look at essays during this time and answer questions.

St. Joseph's Interviews 9/26 ALL DAY - SIGN UP REQUIRED
Our admissions representative from St. Joe's will make a general presentation at 9:00 AM and then conduct interviews throughout the day. To sign up for a thirty minute interview, please see Mrs. Monahan on the second floor of Fennessy. We recommend that anyone considering St. Joe's have an interview. Slots will fill up fast so please sign up ASAP!

If you have any questions please let us know!

College Update - Week of 9/3

Seniors! Welcome back! The bad news about the college process is that it starts NOW. The good news is that your hard work now will be rewarded in the spring when you are finished with college applications. Enough small talk - here is your college related "to do" list for the week:

  • Log into Family Connection and review your updated GPA and test scores. Let us know if you have trouble logging in! Here is the link:
  • The College Visit list (which changes and grows DAILY from now until November) is also in Family Connection. Please review it regularly.
  • College Visit Policy: If you would like to meet with a college, please come to Fennessy for a College Visit Pass and a signature and present this pass to the teacher of the class you will be missing at least one day in advance. There is no need to use the sign up for a visit function on Family Connection - just the paper passes!
Please sign up on our calendars at some point during the month of September to go over your college list, deadlines, tests, etc. Happy first week!
